Let me start out with the fact that I love my job. I have been pulled towards nutrition and fitness all of my life and feel lucky that I can help people discover the love of a great workout, the feeling of accomplishing a personal goal, completing their first or fastest race, and finding foods that will help make them feel healthier from the inside out.
My mission is to have each person I work with feel a satiated, energetic, skin glowing, body thriving kind of wonderful that will enable them to become an overall happier version of themselves.
I graduated with a BS from Lehigh University where I competed as a Division 1 athlete. I carried my love of fitness with me after college and became certified as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. I was fortunate enough to meet and partner with Gina Mancuso and Cindy Brown as a co-owner of CoreFitness, a fitness business located in the heart of the Art Museum area of Philadelphia. Together, we specialized in personal training, race training and boot camp classes. We built a business rooted in community, passion and like-minded individuals who loved to get in a great work out and had fun doing it.
However, in late 2024, Cindy and I decided to start LC Fitness a Philadelphia fitness community that helps you focus on milestones, wellness and fitness. As part of LC Fitness we continue to operate our in person and virtual platform of classes, training and nutritional consultations.
As a trainer, I felt there has been a stronger focus on the fitness world than ever before, this makes me happy, obviously. However, the nutrition portion is often neglected when people are trying to get in their best shape. All too often, quick fixes and commercialized supplements have taken the place of getting to the root of the problem.
I think it’s important to know that the way you fuel your body, whether or not you are working out, has a huge impact on your wellness efforts and overall health. I feel that nutrition should be the forerunner for health and healing your body from the inside out. From there the physical changes will come. I think it’s time nutrition has it’s turn to shine, as it can change everything about the way you look and feel, and most importantly, live.
For these reasons, I went on to pursue nutrition as a Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner from the Nutrition Therapy Institute of Colorado . Now, I work with clients one on one to assess them and create a plan for them as a unique individual. There are so many effective ways to get the results you want to achieve. Often, the trouble is finding the one that is right for each person, this is where I get excited to step in help!
To sum it up, in addition to personal trainer and nutrition practitioner I am someone who gets excited to help you discover how you can become the version of yourself that you know you want to be. To give you the guidance, support, tools and an actual step by step plan to get out and make it happen! I love my job, because time and time again I get to see clients do things they never thought they could do, feel happier than they have felt before and simply lead a better life. I believe that once you take control of your health with passion and excitement, good things happen.
Please feel free to send me an email to ask any questions you might have and continue the conversation about how you can make simple changes to a better you.
